Ramon’s Village Resort sits on the beachfront of Ambergris Caye, just south of the town of San Pedro, offering immediate access to the Belize Barrier Reef, located less than a half-mile offshore. This iconic reef system is the second-largest in the world and delivers some of the Caribbean’s most impressive dive experiences—think vibrant coral canyons, swim-throughs, and encounters with sharks, rays, turtles, and hundreds of tropical species.
With its central location, Ramon’s provides fast and easy boat access to legendary dive sites like Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark Ray Alley, Tackle Box, and the world-famous Blue Hole. The resort’s in-house dive operation makes diving seamless, with up to four daily dives and options ranging from shallow reef dives to full-day trips to remote atolls.

Ramon’s Village offers unique, Polynesian-style thatched-roof cabanas built from native materials and surrounded by tropical gardens and palm-lined pathways. Rooms range from beachfront cabanas to garden view suites, all with air conditioning, private bathrooms, and Belizean hardwood décor. The resort features an open-air restaurant, beachfront bar, lagoon-style pool, and spa services, creating a laid-back, island-style atmosphere with personalized service.
The on-site Ramon’s Village Divers, a PADI 5-Star dive center, runs up to four dives daily with professional guides, well-maintained boats, and a full range of PADI courses. Their private dock provides direct access to dozens of nearby dive sites, and the dive shop is equipped to serve beginners, advanced divers, and underwater photographers alike.
