About the Tiburon Explorer

The Tiburon Explorer is a purpose-built liveaboard designed for the often rugged and remote conditions of the Galapagos. At 125 feet (38 meters), it accommodates up to 16 guests in 9 air-conditioned staterooms, each with private en-suite bathrooms, ocean-view windows, and plenty of storage space.

The vessel features a spacious dive deck, sun deck with hot tub, indoor lounge, and a full dining area where guests enjoy chef-prepared meals daily. The ship’s modern build and stability are well-suited to the oceanic conditions surrounding the islands, making the ride smoother and more enjoyable.

A Dive Itinerary Like No Other

The Galapagos itinerary is a 7-night journey that includes the most iconic and biologically diverse islands in the region. The highlights?

• Wolf and Darwin Islands: The crown jewels of the itinerary, known for schools of hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, and the occasional whale shark.

• Cabo Douglas: Dive with marine iguanas munching algae beneath the waves—a surreal experience unique to Galapagos.

Each day typically includes three to four dives, with detailed briefings and experienced local guides who are experts in Galapagos marine ecosystems. Currents can be strong, and water temperatures variable, so this trip is best suited for advanced divers with previous drift diving experience.
