Lembeh Resort

Indonesia

Dive into the World's Critter Capital with Luxury and Comfort

Located on the lush island of Lembeh in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, Lembeh Resort overlooks the Lembeh Strait—an internationally acclaimed dive destination known for its incredible biodiversity and rare marine life. This narrow stretch of water is considered the muck diving capital of the world, attracting underwater photographers and critter hunters eager to spot species found nowhere else on Earth.

Lembeh Strait offers calm, protected waters with black volcanic sand—ideal conditions for discovering unusual creatures like mimic octopus, flamboyant cuttlefish, hairy frogfish, nudibranchs, pipefish, and blue-ringed octopus. Most dive sites are just minutes from the resort, allowing for easy multiple-dive days and extended time exploring this surreal underwater environment. In addition to muck diving, nearby coral reefs and wreck sites offer even more variety for adventurous divers.
