Cocos Island, located 340 miles off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, is one of the world’s most legendary liveaboard diving destinations. This remote, UNESCO World Heritage Site is only accessible by boat, and the Cocos Island Aggressor is your gateway to exploring its wild underwater wonders.

Famed for its big animal encounters, Cocos is a mecca for experienced divers seeking adrenaline-pumping dives. You’ll descend into currents that attract massive schools of hammerhead sharks, whitetip reef sharks, manta rays, tiger sharks, mobulas, and even the occasional whale shark. Add in abundant marine life, volcanic seamounts, and dramatic underwater pinnacles, and you have a bucket-list trip like no other.

Season: Year-round (best conditions May–October for hammerheads; November–April for calmer seas)

• Alcyone Seamount – schooling hammerheads and manta rays
• Dirty Rock – large pelagics, eagle rays, and turtles
• Manuelita – whitetip shark night dives
• Bajo Alcyone – hammerheads and big schools of jacks

• 10-night liveaboard cruise aboard the Cocos Island Aggressor
• Up to 4 dives per day (weather and conditions permitting)
• All meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks

• Tanks, weights, and weight belts
• Use of two skiffs for dive transfers
• Dive briefings and guided dives
• Photography station and camera rinse tanks
• Transfer between San José and Puntarenas on cruise days

PACKAGE DESCRIPTION

The Cocos Island Aggressor is a 124-foot world-class liveaboard yacht designed with diver comfort in mind. It accommodates up to 22 guests in 11 air-conditioned staterooms, each with private bathrooms, personal climate control, and daily housekeeping. Common areas include a large salon, sun deck with hot tub, covered outdoor lounge, and camera table for underwater photographers.
Diving is conducted from a spacious dive deck and two skiffs (tenders), allowing for quick transfers to remote dive sites. You’ll enjoy up to 4 dives per day, with nitrox available for certified divers. Fresh meals are served buffet-style, with snacks, fruits, and drinks available throughout the day.
